True North Runes exists because these symbols deserve better than what most of the market offers. Too often, affordable sets are made from substandard materials or come from ethically questionable sources overseas.

We think there's a better way. We source our materials from Canadian suppliers, work with Canadian companies, and leverage precision manufacturing methods to compete with mass-produced sets on quality and authenticity rather than price alone.

We Work Slowly

No AI. No factories. No purchased assets. Our designs start on paper and are all human-made originals. Each set is engraved one at a time, receiving the full attention of a lifelong practitioner. We finish our runes by hand in a two-day, proprietary process to avoid all dyes and drying agents.

Made for Everyone

We also recognize that the Futhark belongs to no single tradition. Throughout history, these symbols have moved across cultures, languages, and practices. Our sets are made for everyone who feels drawn to them, without ties to any particular deity, faith, or path. Everything we sell ships with your spiritual autonomy in mind.
